Troponin I Quantitative test measures the exact concentration of cardiac Troponin-I protein in the blood, which is released when there is damage to the heart muscle (myocardium). It is a highly specific and sensitive biomarker for cardiac injury.

This test is commonly recommended in the evaluation of chest pain, suspected myocardial infarction (heart attack), acute coronary syndrome, and other cardiac conditions.
